This site will host a database with citations of:
- primary articles or scholastic reviews originally in the romanian language,
perhaps published in a Romanian scientific journal;
- translations of such papers, originally in romanian, into other european
languages, and in particular into english;
- romanian translations of papers and abstracts, originally published
in other languages.
This project is primarily aimed at romanian students who have not yet acquired
sufficient command of the technical dialect of english peculiar to their own
field and would still need exposure to primary literature, and also to
romanian consultants (such as physicians, or other experts) who do not
master english sufficiently.
It is also trying to provide a means of dissemination of research
results that are published initially in romanian and are thus not
accessible to the non-romanian world.
